Ndidi Dikes draws some of inspiration from traditional textiles, particularly those find in Nigeria.
In the last decade or so, appropriation and sampling have been central creative strategies favoured by Dike.

Some of her relief panels which have incorporated diverse elements, leather brass heads, copper wire, cowries shells, coins heads, rings stand out as cathedrals to eclectism, motific vignettes that accentuate the post modernist preoccupation with inclusivity and decentering.
